Mandolin Lick of the Day #114

Happy New Year! The next few licks I’m going to post this week are going to be some scale exercises I’ve been warming up with every morning. This one is kind of musical sounding to my ear and descends down the major scale 3 notes at a time. Start at the root note of a scale, then work your way down to the lowest note you can. Try to get each note to sound as clear as the last. (It gets tricky when switching strings!) Then start with another note!

Be sure to use a metronome! Cheers!
